The Marquette Board of Light and Power, a community-owned, not-for-profit Municipal Electric Utility, is seeking a highly skilled individual to lead its Finance Department. The Director of Finance is part of the senior staff management team that reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the overall management of the utility’s finances and budget.
The qualifying candidate must have excellent communication, management, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting for Finance from an accredited university, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Public Administration and/or a CMA designation is desirable.

The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) is accepting applications for an Engineering Technician. This position is responsible for supporting Coldwater design and operations, preparing and reviewing engineering and technical drawings as well as supporting the Geographic Information System (GIS) department with data collection and entry. This individual must possess outstanding technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required;
- College degree in technical related field of study and/or equivalent work experience required, Civil or Electrical Engineering preferred;
- Project management experience preferred;

This is a full-time non-exempt position with hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday with a wage range of $19.00 – $26.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
